Annually december february accepts online submissions we run a writing contest open to all maine residents ages 11 18. Write and submit a back cover blurb of 100 words or fewer that sets the stage for a novel establishes the characters and raises the stakes in a way that makes readers want to find out more. The contest runs from mid december through january each year. Our annual themed creative writing contest allows youth from all over the state of maine to show off their writing chops.
